9TH ANNUAL MEETING UCCOSSN

The first meeting of the United Church of Christ Office Support Staff Network held outside of Florida was hosted by the national office of the United Church of Christ in Cleveland in April, 1996. A highlight of the weekend was a tour of 700 Prospect Avenue.
The theme was "Living Simply and Simply Living". The presenter was Ms. Peggy Dunn. As a member of the Society of Friends (Quakers) and the wife of a UCC minister, Peggy had an ecumenical approach toward religious practice. She was keenly interested in the expression of spirituality in daily life. The theme presentation was divided into three phases:

Looking into our Environments
Looking into our Souls

Support staff also had a chance for a Pre-Meeting Seminar which highlighted Lotus Notes and the Profile Distribution System administered by the Office for Church Life and Leadership. Charlotte Still was the coordinator and host for this event.
